Rusike attracts Angola club

FORMER Dynamos midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike, who is still negotiating for a fresh deal with the Zimbabwean soccer champions, has attracted the interest of a top Angolan club believed to be Interclube.

The midfielder’s one-year contract with the Glamour Boys ended last December.

He returned home a year ago from South Africa where he played for that country’s Premiership side Ajax Cape Town.

But Rusike is still club-hunting as the deal with the Harare Giants is on ice as both parties fail to agree on the financial terms.

Dynamos have made it clear that they don’t have “the resources” after their sponsor BancABC slashed their sponsorship package for this season.

However, some of the senior players at the club who have had stints outside the country are not finding it easy to settle for paltry figures being offered thus dragging the negotiations on with no solution in sight.

Other players that are still to decide on their future with DeMbare are Roderick Mutuma, Oscar Machapa and Russel Madamombe.

Sources say Mutuma may follow suit and ink a deal with How Mine as the negotiations between him and Dynamos are also failing to yield something positive.
