“Zimbabwe is a very good country. People here are friendly and warm. It’s like my second home,” she said.
The “Muranziwa” hitmaker is being escorted by other artistes — Veron Mangena and Patrick Mthimkhulu.
The trio said they wanted to assess the music market in the country.
“Zimbabwe’s economy has stabilised, we are exploring avenues on how we can promote our music here. We are planning to have a show in May here,” said Mthimkhulu.
Nkutha was born and bred in Soweto and started her career at the age of 19, as a backing vocalist for Jazino and the Lilies. Pamela is renowned for mixing English, Zulu, Tsonga and Portuguese in her songs.
