The albums were recently launched in his hometown of Mufakose where various artistes like Cindy, Ngoni Kambarami, Trevor Dongo and Alexio Kawara, among others, were in attendance.
Trinta, who moved to South Africa two years ago, features on his albums the likes of Buffalo Soldier, the Honey Vibes duo of Tererai and Luscious, Valkin, Knife Trenza and Jlarim.
His stay in South Africa where he has been working with one of the leading recording companies in Johannesburg also honed his music experience and this is evident on the two albums that are gem-packed.
Trinta said his music was well received in South Africa although the market was slow in appreciating dancehall music preferring kwaito and house music.
“There is need to make the right connections. Although they prefer house music, dancehall is, however, coming up there,” Trinta said.
He said his aim was to spread positive messages and upliftment of people.
“Tine verse remuBible rinoti ‘Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth’,” Trinta said.
Born in Mbare on July 31 1985, Trinta’s passion for music started when he was still young.
It was in 2000 that he decided to record but his dream had to be deferred for two years.
It finally happened when he met Dylan Makhalima who assisted him.
As Honey Vibes – which comprised of Chilla Bee, Luscious and himself – they recorded hit singles like “Tamari” (2000), “Ndikuone” (2005), “Nguva Refu” (2006) apart from featuring on the Chigutiro Anthem.
In 2007 Trinta recorded a solo album titled “Level One” before deciding to leave for Johannesburg, South Africa.
“I wanted to try a new market and was also looking for greener pastures,” he said.
