SA halts Zim deportations

South Africa’s Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma told journalists in Pretoria on Tuesday that her ministry could also miss the deadline because there was still a lot of work to be done.

Her remarks followed discussions she had with the Zimbabwean Stakeholder Forum in Pretoria.

This comes at a time when Zimbabweans had been appealing to the Government to engage its South African counterpart over the fate of those who fail to formalise their residence by Dece-mber 31.-The Herald
