THE Sables technical side have trimmed their squad for the triangular series to be held in Namibia to 29 players, who are going into camp on Friday.The players, who were selected on Sunday evening, are expected to be in camp until next Monday at Hartsfield in Bulawayo.
They will train under the guidance of technical director Liam Middleton, head coach Brendan Dawson and assistant coach Cyprian Mandenge. The new players in the squad include prop Kevin Nqindi from Belhar Rugby Club in Cape Town.
Team Manager Losson Mtongwiza said they will reduce the squad to 24 with five players being placed on standby.
“We are happy with the squad, the coaches will be assessing Nqindi and all the other new players in camp”, said Mtongwiza.
