THE Permanent Secretary for Manica Province of Mozambique who recently visited Manicaland has said SADC countries must increase their cooperation in the areas of technical expertise and resource mobilisation.
Speaking to Diamond FM before departing for Mozambique on Tuesday, Mrs Fransica Muluana, said it was important for SADC countries to share problem solving techniques and to relate as one family.
She added that her province would soon be exploring the vast tourism opportunities that exist in this province in particular introducing the Mozambican menu in some of the local restaurants in various resorts. Mrs Muluana also explained that the Mozambican government had extended a hand of peace to Renamo which is causing disturbances in Manica and Sofala provinces. She said it was essential for peace to prevail to ensure the continuation of developmental projects in Mozambique.
