Sadomba strike gives Al Hilal lead

Al-Hilal beat Club Africain of Tunisia in an African Champions League second round, first leg tie in Omdurman at the weekend.
The Warriors’ forward struck in the second half, reacting quickest to a rebound to bury home his chance, and give Al-Hilal the edge.
His Warriors’ teammate Knowledge Musona was also on target for Kaizer Chiefs but could not stop the Soweto giants from crashing out of the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals with a shock 1-2 defeat at the hands of Division Two side Baroka.
Little Baroka will now meet Sunday Chidzambwa’s Black Leopards in the semi-finals of the richest knockout tournament in African football.
Black Leopards defeated Premiership side Vasco da Gama 3-2 after extra-time in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile Al-Ahly coach Manuel Jose has not written off African Champions League last-16 rivals Zesco United despite a goalless first-leg draw in Zambia at the weekend.
“They have talented and ambitious footballers who are desperate to play in the group stage,” the 63-year-old Portuguese warned the Egyptian team who are seeking a record seventh title.
“Zesco caused problems for us with their long balls and physical approach and we cannot take anything for granted ahead of the return match in Cairo,” Jose told the Egyptian media.
Mouloudia Alger of Algeria were another North African side to leave the south of the continent on level terms after snatching a stoppage-time 1-1 draw with Angolan police team InterClube in Luanda.
A disastrous start saw Mouloudia have a player sent off and concede a goal within 10 minutes and coach Noureddine Zekri was also expelled before Zinedine Bensalem burgled a 93rd-minute equaliser.
Esperance of Tunisia were the most impressive winners, trouncing Senegalese visitors Diaraf 5-0 in Tunis with Oussama Darragi scoring twice and Malian Dramane Traore, Idriss Mhirsi and Youssef Msakni once each.
A solitary goal also separated Wydad Casablanca and defending champions TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo with Mustapha Allaoui netting after 16 minutes in the Moroccan commercial capital.
Cotonsport Garoua had their home fixture against Entente Setif of Algeria postponed for two weeks because they supply four of the Cameroon squad that has reached the African youth championship semifinals in Soweto.
Al-Ittihad and ASEC Mimosas cannot host fixtures because of the security situation in Libya and Ivory Coast so ties against Enyimba and Raja Casablanca have been reduced to a single match in Nigeria and Morocco respectively. – Sports Reporter/AFP.
