Saintfloew salutes mum

Maria Chiguvari

ZIM Hip Hop sensation, Saintfloew, has hailed his mother for being his biggest supporter from the start.

He launched his debut album titled “Rise & Lead” at Alexandra Sports Club in Harare on Saturday.

“The album launch, takagadzira history celebrating not just the birth of an album, but the birth of a cultural phenomenon.

“I want to thank God always, my mother my queen, and my family for giving me the ‘courage’ to tell my stories, and all my fans makasimbisa and trusted me with the stories and massive to everyone that’s helped me come this far.”

He added: “This journey began in the streets of ChiTown where the poetry of the streets inspired us.

“We turned pain into lyrics, and passion into beats, we created something that wasn’t just songs, it was our truth, our story, and the story of a generation.

“Success is never a one-man journey; it’s built upon the collective efforts of many – the producers who crafted the beats Jamal_nolimits, Gangstamadeit, Icure.zw, Dr Chaii, Leekaydiman.

“In music, we find a voice for the voiceless, we have the power to inspire change, challenge the status quo, and unite people through our art Rise and Lead.”
