Saints coach Edmore Sibanda said his team had been on the rise in recent weeks and he was fine-tuning them for a big upset at home against How Mine.
“In the last few weeks we have been on the rise on the log as we have been picking up points and we will not stop against How Mine.
“We want to upset them and continue picking up points so that we move off the lower echelons of the league,” Sibanda said
He said the acquisition of striker Newman Sianchali from Binga who has found the target three times in the three matches he has played so far has been a boost for the team as the new man is a good striker.
Sheunesu Chaka, the How Mine coach on the other hand said they were going to play for the maximum points also and keep the pressure on ZPC Hwange and Bantu Rovers who lead the pack a point ahead.
Chaka said they were going to be looking at Steven Sibanda their striker who has scored six goals to lead the attack while their midfield cog Donald Chiringa will be expected to dictate play in the middle of the park.
Tomorrow, wounded Tsholotsho take to the road to date log leaders ZPC Hwange in another potentially explosive match as the home side will look to consolidate their top spot while Tsholotsho will be happy to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat at home to New West City which led to crowd trouble in Tsholotsho.
Second-placed Bantu Rovers travel to Plumtree for a clash with seventh placed Bulawayo Chiefs and the match will not be an easy one for the former Premier League team as Bulawayo Chiefs have also been playing some good football in recent weeks.
