Sakunda property under the hammer

FUEL concern Sakunda Holdings will have some of its assets put under the hammer over an undisclosed debt owed to listed seedmaker SeedCo Zimbabwe.

It has since been established Revelation Auctioneers, instructed by the Sheriff of the High Court, intends to put sell 30 office chairs, five printers, three computer sets, 10 office desks and two HP monitors belonging to the troubled firm.

The auction is slated for September 9, 2015.

Sakunda was recently dragged to court by BancABC over an outstanding debt of US$14 million.

Sakunda, however, dismissed the claims arguing that the lender didn’t advance the full loan. It is challenging the bank to prove its claims.

The matter is still pending before the courts.
