AWARD-WINNING producer, Samcriss, is set to drop a new riddim titled 3D early next month.
The riddim is going to feature various artists, including those who are not purely dancehall artists, as it sets to showcase the versatility of Zimbabwean artists at large.
Speaking to H-Metro, Samcriss said he was honoured to be working on something that Zimbabwean music lovers are going to like.
“It’s quite an honour to be able to work on something that you are very much positive about.
“There are going to be surprise artists on the riddim and that makes it even more enjoyable,” he said.
Samcriss added that the main motive of the riddim was to uplift upcoming artists.
“The 3D riddim is for everyone, especially upcoming artists, the riddims I am working on are mainly focused on upcoming artists as the bigger artists are now showing too much pride.
“So, my motive is to uplift artists just like what l was doing when l was at Chillspot Records.”
The Champions League riddim producer also hinted on a number of big artists who are set to feature on the riddim.
“As you know, there are some people who do not listen to riddim compilations if there are no bigger artists or trending artists involved.
“So, on the riddim, people should look out for the likes of Mostaff, Magikal, Ricky Fire, Jay C, Uncle Epatan and a whole lot of other known artists.”
