Sanchez speaks about form

LONDON. — Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez has admitted his slow return to form is because he was so worried about getting injured again.

Sanchez’s goal in the 4-0 victory over Watford on Saturday was just his second strike in the English Premier League since returning from a hamstring strain in January. The Chile international was out for two months of the campaign after sustaining the problem against Norwich.

Sanchez missed only two League games last season through injury and already had 20 goals in all competitions by this stage of the campaign.

He believes he is only just starting to get back to his best and said: “Before my injury I was 100 percent fit. I was feeling well.

After the injury I wanted to get back but it was hard. — The Evening Standard.
