TelOne expands payment platforms

Client Focus is one of our core values at TelOne. The company has undertaken various initiatives to move closer to our valued clients by opening new shops at major malls and at its Exchanges nationwide.

TelOne has also brought more convenience to its customers by introducing online payment platforms TelPay and PayNow Topup, partnering with banks such as CBZ, ZB Banks and retail outlets like OK Zimbabwe for clients to pay for TelOne services while they do their banking and shopping respectively.

Online payment platforms

Moving away from the past where all transaction had to be in the customer service shops, TelOne has diversified its payment platforms including customer touch points. Customers can now pay their bills and top-up their data online via www.telpay.co.zw or www.paynow.co.zw. These platforms have come with a lot of convenience where customers can now top up their data from anywhere anytime of the day.

The customer interface on our broadband has also improved with customers now being able to track their usage as well as get a prompt when data is about to be finished TelOne has also introduced bundle notifications on all broadband accounts. Consumers get notified when they have reached 50 percent consumption of their data and when they finally exhaust their data bundle.

To register, broadband clients simply:

1. Log on to http://selfservice.telone.co.zw/

2. Click on the Get Notified button and enter the following details:

a. TelOne Phone Number/Username.

b. Mobile Number.

c. Email Address.

3. Then click on Sign Up, wait for a verification code and head back to http://selfservice.telone.co.zw/

4. Click again on the Get Notified button.

5. Click the lower left button ACTIVATE/DEACTIVAT NOTIFICATION.

6. Enter TelOne Phone Number/Username and Verification Code.

7. Click on Apply and the client is all set to receive notifications.

Mobile Offices

TelOne’s Mobile Offices enable clients to pay for their bills, apply for new service, make enquiries, report faults, top up their ADSL accounts, buy Public Wi-Fi and ZETDC prepaid electricity vouchers. The mobile offices are available in Zimre Park, Zimplats in Selous, Knowe in Norton, Mainway Meadows, Good Hope,Mt Pleasant Heights, Westgate, Tynwald and Madokero.

TelOne partners with retail

TelOne clients can buy recharge vouchers at iTech in Eastlea, OK and Bon Marche outlets nationwide. The company is in negotiations with other retail outlets to expand to act as agents for TelOne.

TelOne telephone bills can also be paid at any ZB and CBZ banks nationwide.

More convenience with the TelOne-FBC MasterCard

TelOne has partnered with FBC Bank to enable clients to purchase Broadband Prepaid Vouchers online using the TelOne — FBC Prepaid MasterCard card. The internationally recognised, multi-purpose, load and go cards are available at all TelOne outlets for only $5 and expires after 3 years.

The card is available instantly over the counter and you do not need to open an account with FBC Bank. All you need is your National Identification, proof of residence and $5 once off application fee.
