Sandra invites orphans to birthday party

FAMOUS musician Sandra Ndebele will celebrate her 33rd birthday and 3rd wedding anniversary in a different way by hosting orphans and under-privileged children from Bulawayo.The Bulawayo born and bred star was born on  January 6 and the belated celebrations are set for Amakhosi Cultural Centre on Friday next week.

In an interview, Ndebele said the month of January was special to her and the celebrations would also be special to her. “I was born on January 6 and I tied the knot on January 16. This year I have decided to celebrate it not only with the family, but with orphans from different children’s homes, as well as the under-privileged,” said Ndebele.

The Malaika hitmaker said a local food outlet had already pledged to donate food for the event.
“There would be lots of entertainment from different groups including me as well. We are calling upon all artistes who wish to come and take part to get in touch and make it a memorable day for the kids as well,” she said.

Ndebele tied the knot with beau Nkanyiso Sibindi on January 16, 2011 at a star-studded, private wedding  at Nesbitt Castle.
The event saw South African diva Nani Ntengo from the group Platform One performing.
