Sanganai/Hlanganani expo ready to roar

The 17th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganai World Tourism Expo will take place next week at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
The premier tourism event will run from September 12 to 14. The official opening and awards ceremony will be held on September 13.
Addressing the media this morning, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Barbra Rwodzi accompanied by her deputy Tongai Mnangagwa said they look forward to having a bigger expo this year with elaborate sustainable tourism initiatives and gastronomy tourism showcase.

“Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo 2024 will host three conferences,” she said.
“The conferences will bring together industry leaders, experts, and professionals from around the world to engage in insightful discussions, share innovative ideas, and explore the latest trends in the Tourism Industry.”
Minister Rwodzi said regional and foreign investors from eight 8 countries have so far registered to participate at the expo bringing operators from their countries.

The countries are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania, Embassy of Iran, Angola and Nigeria.
“South Africa and Botswana have indicated that they will bring 10 operators each. Namibia will bring six operators,” she said.
