Sangano Legends were crowned the 2017 champions of the Bulawayo Christian league with two games to spare after they baptised Word of Life at Nketa grounds last weekend.
Sangano who are yet to lose a match this season maintained their unbeaten run in the Christian League making them sit at the apex of the log with 32 points.
a�?We are very excited about our achievement this season, it was a tough contest with a lot of competition because all teams have improved and we appreciate the competition,a�? said Sangano legends leader Timothy Mandidzadza.
The Christian league secretary congratulated Sangano for a job well done.
a�?Congratulations Sangano, tough luck Word ofA� Life, you did well. Following this victory it is safe to say Sangano have won the Christian League title,a�? said Christian league secretary Mqhele Sayi.
This is the eighth consecutive season the champions are lifting the Christian league title.
In other fixtures, Brethren in Christ church played a goalless draw against House of Prayer while Eagle Life managed to get a win against struggling UFIC.
Flying stars managed to get a dramatic win when they baptised Victory Fellowship in a 10 goal thriller, with Victory Fellowship managing to get the ball behind the net once.
