A 37-YEAR-OLD Chimanimani traditional healer was last week arraigned before the courts for allegedly sleeping with a minor.Samuel Nota (30) of Manase Village under Chief Ngorima in Chimanimani briefly appeared before senior Mutare magistrate, Mrs Sekai Chiundura and was not asked to plead.Nota was tasked with the casting out of an evil spirit that was allegedly tormenting the family’s seven-year-old twins.
Nota told the younger sister that the coin was to be thrown in the absence of other people leading to the minor and Nota to move to a distant place.
He grabbed the minor and raped her once. He was spotted in the act by a passerby and he ran away leaving the minor half naked and he was handed over to the police.
