SASAF a success at Mufakose 2

Mufakose 2 Secondary School hosted the (SASAF) Schools Annual Sports Arts Festival last week. The week, which peaked on March 16, marked a period of talent showcasing events at our school, as well as empowering youth talent.

Students were dressed in African attire as well as traditional outfits. Every student participated in sports, arts and cultural activities.

Sporting events that took place were Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Soccer, Handball, Cricket, Tennis and Chess.

Players were organised in teams which were two sports houses combined, Mhofu and Nyati houses battled against Ingwe and Shumba. Overaly Mhofu and Nyati conquered in Basketball, Netball, Volleyball as well as Handball.

Other events that took place were Karate which was all about showcasing talent, empowering as well as motivating other students into the Karate spirit.

Mufakose 2 Secondary School has been successful in Sports and Arts in Harare over the last four years and is hoping to do the same this year.
