A number of Glenview High 1 School ;earners were yesterday turned away from lessons over non-payment of fees.

The school’s deputy headmaster, only identified as Mr Mhungu, told H-Metro that they wanted parents to present a payment plan to them.

“We turned away students to allow them to bring their parents and face school authorities for a payment plan. We are not allowed to turn away students from attending lessons, but this is to force parents to come to school for negotiations since they failed to pay on time,” he said.

Security guards manning the school gate were demanding proof of payment before allowing students to access the school premises.
