Schoolgirl beaten for refusing to kiss boyfriend

BULAWAYO. – A Bulawayo man has been hauled to court for allegedly beating up his 16-year-old girlfriend and stealing her cellphone. Kelvin Msimanga (27) of Matsheumhlope suburb, allegedly pounced on his girlfriend, a Form Three pupil at a city high school – when she was on her way home from church. He asked to kiss him and when she refused, he slapped her in the face twice, the court heard.

He dragged her to a bushy area, held a knife to her chest and slapped her until she was rescued by a passer-by.

She sustained a swollen lip and bruises on her neck. – The Chronicle.
