Scores turn up at VP Mohadi anti drug abuse marathon

Scores of athletes from across the country have turned up at the Vice President Kembo Mohadi’s half marathon that is being held along the Beitbridge to Bulawato Highway.

The Run for Hope Marathon is being held to promote a healtht culture and to raise awareness on drugs and substance abuse.

During the event there will also be the commissioning of the rehabilitated Mutetengwe primary school, in Ward 7 which is the home village to the Vice President.

There is also free medical screening and training of villagers on basic first aid skills by Discovery Ambulances.

The race involves a 21km race, 10km, 5km and 3km races.

All the races are starting and ending at Mutetengwe Primary School.
