SCOTLAND FC boss Scott Sakupwanya has flexed his financial muscle, splashing a whopping US$100 000 to fire up Simba Bhora ahead of their historic debut in the CAF Champions League.
Sakupwanya, whose company Better Brands bankrolls the Shamva-based side, dropped the cash offering ahead of Simba Bhora’s preliminary round clash against Eswatini giants Nsingizini Hotspurs.
Speaking at the handover, Sakupwanya pledged even more support if the team advances.

“We want Simba Bhora to fly the Zimbabwean flag high on the continental stage. If they make it to the next round, I will also cover their winning bonuses,” he vowed.
The money comes as a huge relief for Simba Bhora, who are battling hefty travel and accommodation costs. The first leg will be played this Sunday in Francistown, Botswana, after their home ground failed to meet CAF requirements.
The return leg is set for Eswatini the following weekend, with the aggregate winner progressing to face tougher opposition.
This season marks a milestone moment for Simba Bhora, who stormed into continental football after a strong finish in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
With Sakupwanya’s deep pockets backing them, Simba Bhora now have one less battle to fight off the field — and all eyes will be on them to see if they can roar to victory on African soil.
