SCOTTISH RAGE! Scottland FC damaged TV set, mirrors following Chibuku Super Cup defeat to Bosso

LEAGUE champions Scottland FC reportedly damaged a television set and mirrors in their dressing room following their Chibuku Super Cup Quarter Finals defeat to Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo.

The Scotts lost 2-1 on penalties to Bosso after the game ended in a 2-all stalemate.

The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has since reported that after the match, it was discovered that the visiting team had damaged a television set and mirrors in their dressing room.

“Barbourfields Stadium had hosted a high-profile match pitting Highlanders FC and Scottland FC on 21 September, 2025. The visiting team, Scottland FC damaged a television set and mirrors in their dressing room. The Premier Soccer League was informed with a view to facilitate replacement by the concerned team.

“Relatedly, while the home team supporters celebrated their team’s victory, they pulled down a section of the pitch perimeter fence on the northern end of the stadium. Quotations had been sought in order to initiate the necessary repairs backed by the deposit fee that was lodged with council as per policy,” reads the latest council report.
