HIGHLANDERS midfield sensation Mason Mushore is at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war after Harare side Scottland made a formal move for his signature.
Bosso acting chief executive officer Kindman Ndlovu confirmed the interest on Monday, revealing that Scottland are eyeing the in-form midfielder during the current transfer window.
“Yes, Scottland formally enquired on the transfer availability of Mason during this transfer window. We informed them that Mason has attracted interest from a European club and is focused on that potential move for now,” said Ndlovu.
Mushore, who has been one of Highlanders’ standout players in the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, is believed to be weighing his options carefully.
Just two weeks ago, he flew to Zambia to submit a visa application, fuelling speculation that a move abroad is imminent.
With both local and international clubs circling, Bosso fans are hoping their rising star won’t be pried away before helping the club in their title quest.

We destroy young talent by sending these youngsters away before they are ready. In our football we do not have any big names to talk about anymore. Besides Peter Ndlovu, Bruce Grobbelaar and Benjani Mwaruwari and Marvellous Nakamba, no other locally groomed player has managed to make a name in the English Premiership which is arguably the best league in the world. And no player has made it big by joining these little leagues around the world. Playing in Europe or overseas is not always glamorous. So let’s allow our young talent to develop here.
