SEAN COMBS, KING COMBS, THE WILD PARTIES, THE WOMEN, THE SEXUAL ASSAULT CLAIMS, THE SCRAMBLE TO ERASE THE SOCIAL MEDIA FOOTPRINT

THEY used to be powerful images of proximity to greatness and a sign of belonging to the inner circles of some of the world’s biggest and most influential celebrities.

But, in the wake of the explosion of the Sean “Diddy” Combs scandal in the United States, there is a scramble to try and erase some of that photographic memory from social media platforms.

Diddy is being accused of sex trafficking and racketeering.

The X account of Usher Raymond, who grew up under Diddy’s wing and regularly featured at some of the wild parties which are part of the crimes the Bad Boy Entertainment founder is being accused of allegedly committing, had all of its contents deleted.

Usher later claimed his account was hacked.

Soon after, fellow stars — Pink and Megan Fox – also cleaned up their entire digital spaces.

Usher has not been charged with any crime but, in these tense times in the music industry in the United States, it appears there is a scramble for stars to try and dissociate themselves from Diddy.

Speculation is rife that a number of these superstars could also be charged in connection with the parts they played when Diddy was leading what prosecutors are calling a “criminal enterprise in sex trafficking and racketeering.”

Just two months ago, Usher was honoured at the BET Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the multi-billion-dollar musical industry.

At that glitzy function in Los Angeles, Madam Boss had selfies with Usher, and other superstars, which she shared with her followers back home.

Madam Boss and Usher Raymond

So far, there is no reason for Madam Boss to regret her golden selfie moment with Usher.

But, the other celebrity Madam Boss shared a selfie with, during a visit to Los Angeles two years ago, has come under severe scrutiny.

Christian Combs, a rapper whose stage name is King Combs, is Diddy’s son.

He is Diddy’s first biological son from his marriage with model Kim Porter whose death, at the age of 47, has become a controversial issue in recent days.

Madam Boss shared the selfie with King Combs on her social media platforms and attached the caption, “Am speechless, living my best life with celebrities.”

A few months after they met in Los Angeles for that selfie moment, King Combs boarded a yacht, which had been hired by his father.

A suit filed in April this year accuses him of allegedly drugging and sexually abusing a woman called Grace O’Marcaigh.

Diddy said it was a family excursion but O’Marcaigh, who was serving food and drinks on the yacht, says it turned into a nightmarish ride for her.

O’Marcaigh is accusing King Combs of sexual assault, sexual harassment and infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages and a jury trial.

She named Diddy as a co-defendant.

O’Marcaigh claims King Combs violently grabbed her arm and touched her legs, breasts and private parts and tried to kiss her on the neck, face and hands.

She claims King Combs then took her to a cinema room and once they were inside, he blocked her exit, cornered her, removed his clothes, exposed himself and physically tried to force her to perform oral sex on him.

Her nightmare ended, she claims, when a colleague walked into the cinema room.

She claimed she was “seriously bruised as a result of the attack,” and that she did not consent to any of the sexual assault and that she was drugged by King Combs.

Images of the bruises she suffered during the attack were attached to the lawsuit. – (@H-Metro)
