Crocker managed to keep his composure in the high profile event and believes he will do better next time.
“I think I did well considering that it was my first attempt and I believe I will do better next time,” Crocker said.
“I think the experience is good for me as I have managed to do well on my first attempt. It was a good experience to take part in the local major event.
“I am now looking forward to my next events as this was a morale booster for me and I am very happy for the support I am getting here back home. “I managed to keep my composure during the three rounds and it was good for me.
Returning home and meeting family and friends was something else and I enjoyed the support I got from the people here. I had a good following which showed my game is going well,” Crocker said.
Local players also managed to do well at this years’ event with Ryan Cairns coming out as the best tied on position seven. The Brooke based professional proved why he is taking all the Zambezi Tour events. Cairns had rounds of 71, 70, 69 and 68 for a ten-under-par 278
The Zimbabwean was tied with South Africans Desvonde Botes, Charl Coetze and Titch Moore on position seven.
Cairns believes he could have done better and remains hopeful of better times ahead.
“I dropped a lot of shots in my final last nine and I hope I will do well next time,” Cairns said.
