The supermodel competition has kicked off with auditions set for various cities and towns.
Auditions started in Bulawayo on July 6, followed by Gweru on July 7, and are now proceeding to Mutare on July 20, Victoria Falls (July 27), Masvingo (August 17), and Harare, along with the Wild Card Auditions (August 24).
They are bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds, thereby showcasing the country’s rich talent pool.
The prestigious competition does not only focus on glamour and beauty but also advocates for the rights and protection of young women.
After the auditions, semi-finals will be held on October 5th.
The boot camp starts on February 1, 2025, while the finals are scheduled for March 1, 2025.
Supermodel representative, Paidemoyo Chideya expressed the agency’s commitment to safeguarding models from the vulnerabilities that plague the industry.
“We recognise the unfortunate susceptibility of young and aspiring models to exploitation and human trafficking,” said Chideya.
“Our mission is not only to provide a platform for talent but also to ensure their safety, well-being, and sustainable livelihoods.”
