A 47-year-old Seke man has been slapped with a 20-year jail term for raping his biological daughter (15).

Chitungwiza magistrate Abigail Takundwa convicted the man after a full trial. The State proved that on November 28, 2025, the girl was at home with her sister, aged two when her father called her into his room, holding a baton stick, intending to discipline her for a previous offence.

He ordered her daughter to remove her clothes and raped her once without protection.

The accused threatened his daughter and advised her not to disclose the matter to anyone. However, the matter came to light later when the juvenile told her schoolmate, who relayed the information to the school authorities.

A police report was filed, leading to the father’s arrest. He appeared at Chitungwiza Magistrates’ Court and was jailed 20 years’ effective.

Recently, a Marondera man was arrested after he allegedly raped his biological mother after a beer binge.
