Entrepreneur Arnold ‘Selekta Base’ Chingwerewe has shifted focus to philanthropic work where he handed over a consignment of groceries to over 100 elderly people in Sunningdale.
The popular car enthusiast made the donation courtesy of his Selekta Base Foundation in which he says he wants to change lives by targeting the vulnerable.

“This is the act of benevolence where we intend to make a positive impact in the lives of people especially those who are vulnerable.

“Special thanks to Car Spinners who made this charity initiative possible by participating in the car spinning event.
“I teamed up with my friends when I recently hosted the Worldwide-Blowout Festival car spinning event at Borrowdale Racecourse and we are now committing the proceeds from the event to charity.

“We handed over some groceries, clothes, and blankets to some residents in Sunningdale.”
“The idea is to raise donations for the needy amongst the society and as such, a call to give towards this noble cause was made,” added Selekta.

The team who were part of the charity work included car clubs including Ice Motors Boss Ice, Jarmaine, Team BMW, Team Subaru, and Sixstar Motorsport among other car enthusiasts.
This donation comes months after the Selekta Base Worldwide – Blowout Festival Car Spinning in which he pledged to channel proceeds from the event to charity.
