The 26-year-old singer was spotted arriving at London’s St Pancras station bright and early on Wednesday to catch the Eurostar to Paris.Dressed down for her trip across the Channel, Alexandra added a beanie hat with ‘‘#Selfie’’ scrawled across it.
The X Factor winner looked chic in a pair of black trousers, lace up brogues and a loose grey sweater. She added a statement coat which featured a huge leather trimmed collar and topped off her look with her fun hat and a pair of gold hooped earrings .
Hiding any sign of tiredness behind some dark shades, the singer added a pop of colour with her orange and cream bag.
A couple of hours later, and Alexandra was in Paris, stopping for a coffee and snack break before beginning a day of promo for her new EP Renegade.
The star dropped her new music last week, telling Digital Spy that her fans can look forward to a rockier sound in the collection, which is her first music release since 2013’s EP #NewRules.
‘‘Slash was a massive inspiration. Of course there was Whitney, Coldplay . . . I just wanted to mix sounds together, and make sure people still heard my voice without the production overpowering my voice,’’ she explained.
Her new musical direction has affected her style too, with the star adding of her inspiration:
‘‘Vision wise, in terms of the look, I put a lot of images together. I put a lot of Naomi Campbell in my mood board, Ciara, Rihanna, and then went to my stylist and said that I wanted to mix all of those looks together, and fit it into who I am. That’s where the new images came from.’’
The singer is currently juggling promo duties for the record with her lead role in the stage adaptation of the 1992 film “The Bodyguard”, which has been touring the UK. — dailymail.
