FOR many years, self-styled prophet, Madzibaba Nzira, has been known as a prophet dedicated to spreading the Word of God, prophesying and healing.
However, the Hobhouse One-based healer has now found another powerful platform for his ministry in music.
Over the past month, Madzibaba Nzira has released four gospel singles- Baba Vanogona, Jesu muGetsimani, Kumagumo and Toenda Kumagumo.
The songs carry a common message of faith, hope, perseverance and total dependence on God during challenging times.
At a time when many people are battling economic hardships, family challenges and spiritual uncertainty, the prophet believes gospel music can help bring encouragement and guide people back to God.
His latest releases are rooted in Biblical teachings, and are designed to uplift listeners, while reminding them of God’s unfailing power and presence.
Baba Vanogona is a song that celebrates God’s ability to perform miracles and intervene in seemingly impossible situations.
The track encourages believers to trust in God’s power regardless of the obstacles they face.
Through its simple yet inspiring message, the song reminds listeners that there is nothing beyond God’s capability.
The second track, Jesu muGetsimani, reflects on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane before His crucifixion.
The song draws lessons from Christ’s obedience, humility and willingness to fulfil God’s purpose despite immense suffering.
It encourages Christians to remain steadfast in their faith even when faced with trials and tribulations.
Kumagumo focuses on endurance and remaining faithful until the end. The song urges believers, not to lose hope along life’s journey, but to continue trusting God through every season.
Its message resonates with many people who may be struggling with discouragement, reminding them that perseverance is rewarded.
Toenda Kumagumo reinforces the importance of finishing the race of faith. The song speaks about determination, commitment and walking with God throughout life’s journey. It is an uplifting anthem that encourages believers to remain focused on their spiritual goals regardless of distractions and challenges. Collectively, the four songs form a powerful gospel package centred on faith, prayer, endurance and unwavering trust in God.

Rather than focusing on entertainment alone, Madzibaba Nzira uses music as a ministry tool aimed at inspiring spiritual growth and bringing people closer to God. Speaking about his music ministry, the prophet said his greatest desire is to see people turning back to God and gaining spiritual understanding.
“Music is one of the most powerful tools God has given us to communicate His message. People listen to music in their homes, workplaces, vehicles and even during difficult moments in life. Through these songs, I want people to remember that God is still in control and that He has the power to change every situation. The messages in my songs are meant to encourage, teach and strengthen believers. We are living in times when many people are searching for answers and hope. Unfortunately, many are suffering because of a lack of knowledge about God’s Word and His promises.
“My mission is to use music to spread the gospel and help people understand that there is salvation, peace and victory in Christ. Every song I release carries a message of faith, endurance and trust in God. I want listeners to be uplifted spiritually and to develop a closer relationship with their Creator. Music has the ability to touch hearts in ways that ordinary preaching sometimes cannot, and that is why I have embraced it as part of my ministry,” he said.
Although he has only recently begun releasing professionally recorded songs, Madzibaba Nzira says music has always been part of his life. The prophet revealed that he has been singing for more than two decades but waited until he received proper guidance and vocal training before recording and releasing finished products.
“I have been a singer for over 20 years, but I felt there was a need for proper moulding, coaching and voice training before releasing my music to the public. I wanted to ensure that the message was delivered in the best possible way. Through learning and improving my skills, I have gained confidence to share these songs with the world. My prayer is that the music will touch lives, strengthen faith and help people draw closer to God,” he said.
With four singles already making their way to gospel music followers, Madzibaba Nzira appears determined to continue using music as an extension of his prophetic calling.
As he combines ministry and melody, his message remains clear: faith in God, spiritual knowledge and perseverance are essential for navigating life’s journey and reaching the finish line.
