WHERE the hustle often overshadows the heart, Paloma “Leaux Leaux” Mlunjwana shines as a radiant force of empowerment and creativity. A qualified strategic brand manager, award-winning blogger, luxury travel influencer, and reality television star, Paloma has harnessed the power of her digital presence to forge a path not only for herself but for countless women aspiring to rise.
From her roots in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, to making waves internationally, she has embarked on a transformative journey that culminates in her new wellness and athleisure line, FRDM (Freedom).
Now based in Dubai, Paloma shared her passion for empowering young women from her hometown with the Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub.

“I’m passionate about young women from Bulawayo as I grew up here myself,” Paloma reflected. Raised in Matsheumhlope, she dreamt of achieving greatness — and today, her success story is a testament to that dream. I see a lot of potential in Bulawayo women, and it is my wish to help them in any way I can,” she said, her voice brimming with determination.
A poignant milestone in Paloma’s journey came when she was appointed as an expert judge for the recently held Miss Universe Zimbabwe Grand Finale in Harare.
“It was such an honour! Being part of something that uplifts women on a global stage was really emotional for me,” she said.
At the event, she made a deliberate choice to honour her roots, wearing a local design from “A Tribe Called Zimbabwe” to celebrate her heritage.
“I wanted to represent where I come from and remind every woman in that room that their story is valid.”
She also shared insights into her life in the United Arab Emirates.

“Right now, I’m based in the UAE, which has played a big part in my journey, especially in building FRDM and stepping fully into the wellness space. I’ve taken some time for deep spiritual reflection. My lifestyle and business have shifted in a way that’s more grounded in faith. I’ve become more intentional about walking with God and allowing that to guide my decisions, especially with FRDM.
“But nothing compares to home. What I missed most before being invited to judge the Miss Universe Zimbabwe was that feeling of rootedness. There’s a grounding energy in Zimbabwe that you just can’t replicate. I missed the people, the warmth, the culture, and that deep sense of belonging you feel when you’re back on home soil.”
At the heart of Paloma’s new venture lies FRDM, a wellness and athleisure line that embodies her philosophy of empowerment and self-care.
“FRDM is truly a heart project. I wanted to create something that felt purposeful — not just beautiful, but useful,” she said.
Drawing from her own wellness journey, she sees FRDM as an extension of her experiences — a space for healing that encourages women to find freedom in their bodies and stories.
The FRDM Athleisure collection celebrates movement as an expression of individuality. Crafted from high-quality, breathable fabrics with four-way stretch, each piece is designed to contour and support, transitioning effortlessly from the gym to casual outings.
“You can go from a workout to a lunch date without changing,” Paloma highlighted, blending functionality with style.
Beyond activewear, FRDM offers a holistic wellness range, including supplements to enhance performance and recovery.
“These products help women move, rest, glow, and evolve,” she stated.
Paloma’s vision for FRDM extends far beyond fashion; she plans to host wellness days and camps across Zimbabwe and South Africa.
“These events will be a vibe — think movement, mindset, and community,” she shared. Participants can expect group workouts, yoga sessions, and mindfulness practices designed to create a nurturing space for women to reconnect with themselves.
“These aren’t just events; they’re emotional check-ins,” she said, inviting women to reset and remember their worth beyond societal expectations.
Her experience on reality TV shows like The Queens of Mzansi has shaped Paloma’s approach to both fashion and wellness.
“For me, they’re not separate. Fashion is how I express myself, and wellness is how I care for myself,” she affirmed.
This balance is evident in her designs, which prioritise both aesthetics and comfort, allowing women to feel powerful yet soft, ambitious yet grounded.
Through her various endeavours, Paloma’s core message resonates deeply: “You are allowed to evolve.”
She encourages women to embrace their multifaceted identities, reminding them that they do not have to choose between beauty and strength, or softness and ambition.
“Whether you’re at the gym, in a boardroom, or healing from something private, you’re still worthy,” she asserted.
With FRDM, Paloma aims to cultivate a movement that empowers women to take up space in every version of themselves.
In her world, freedom truly begins within — and every woman is invited to join her on this transformative journey.
