GOSPEL sensation, Petronella Sengwayo, is set to host a gospel concert on April 29 at the National Ballet auditorium.
Dubbed “Good Vibes”, the concert is inspired by the need to reach out to the younger generation.
Jason Gwanzura, the son of gospel star, Pastor G, Marbel Madondo, The Unveiled, Bongani Mhlabi, Kuda Rice, Wadzanai Chiuriri, Charmaine Chinowaita and The Jesus Project will also perform at the concert.
Speaking to H-Metro, Sengwayo challenged the church to be assertive and strategic about how to help save this generation. “Introducing a new concept involves a lot of work marketing wise and also putting resources is never easy when planning an event of this magnitude.
“I believe Good Vibes is one of the avenues we are going to communicate with our youth about the cross of Jesus Christ, really good vibes of love overcoming hate, good overcoming evil, life overcoming death,” she said.
“I’m hoping to start a movement that will bring the young to Christ. One that will break the chains of addiction, depression, sickness and sin, a movement that’s going to spill over to other parts of the world through the power of the Holy Spirit,” she said.
