POLICE Assistant Commissioner Emilia Moyo has died.
She was 54.
Asst Comm Moyo, who was the Senior Staff Officer Human Resources at Police General Headquarters, died on New Year’s Day at South Medical Centre in Chitungwiza after a short illness.

National police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi yesterday said mourners were gathered at ZRP Chitungwiza Camp.
“A church service for the late senior officer will be conducted at Morris Depot Chapel tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon,” he said.

He said Asst Comm Moyo would be buried on the same day at Glen Forest Cemetery at 2pm.
Asst Comm Moyo was on United Nations Mission appointment in South Sudan as strategic advisor to the South Sudanese National Police Service Directorate of Criminal Investigations since May 11, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Nyasha Moyo, and four children.
