AN application purportedly for Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) members who are looking for love has been formulated, giving a chance for members of the church to network and find romance.

The digital world has taken over the daily lives of people and dating is not excluded as dating sites have been used by people all around the world to find partners. Dating has not been limited to people’s geographic locations but users can now cast their nets wider to other countries with the help of the internet.

Seventh Day Adventists have the Adventist dating.com application that can be downloaded by anyone, but certain requirements are expected for one to fully access the application. The twitter space was left abuzz to the news that the Seventh Day Adventist members now have an app and some of the tweeps tweeted “There is an SDA dating app, I created a profile the other day and the men really looked SDA”.

One is expected to sign in using their email address and then the applicant needs to fill in questions that are presented.

The interested person needs to highlight the reason why they want to use the app, it can either be for mere fun, friendship, dating, looking for a marriage partner, a prayer partner or support.

That makes it easy for the app to find the suitable contender for the applicant.

The app asks compulsory questions that one has to answer all the purpose of making sure one is a true SDA member and where exactly they are located in the world.

The screening process involves being asked about the church membership, who the pastor is and where exactly the church is located.

The questions are designed in a way that a Seventh Day Adventist member would be able to answer as some questions are: What is hell; Explain the death of a Seventh Day Adventist; Explain what happens in hell and What is a pathfinder.

People have the right to choose where their contender should be from and what character traits they possess which makes it easy for the app to suggest different contenders for the person.

After all the questions have been answered the application is processed and screened and one waits for the response from the app, whether accepting or declining the application. However, the church could not be reached to confirm if the app was authentic.
