Sex-starved man runs amok

AN enraged man recently threatened to torch the house after being denied conjugal rights by his wife.

This came to light during an application for a protection order by Magirate Machondo against Godfree Machondo at the Harare Civil Court.

Magirate told the court that the two have not been intimate ever since Godfree got married to a second wife.

She claimed she suspected the second wife had been using juju on her.

She further claimed she was having serious bleeding problems, after her husband married the second wife.

Magirate also told the court that whenever she tried to discuss the issue with Godfree, he suddenly turned violent.

“I am suffering emotional and physical abuse at the hands of this cruel man.

“He recently opened a gas tank in the house and threatened to torch our matrimonial house, demanding sex.

“He was accusing me of denying him his sexual rights,” Magirate said.

In response, Godfree denied the allegations.

He claimed Magirate was misleading the court.

“The truth is that Magirate is having an extra-marital affair with my nephew and I feel it’s good if she goes away from my house, rather than to disrespect me to that extent.

“I have grown-up children and what picture would they get with that kind of behaviour? “

Magistrate Sharon Mashavire, who presided over the matter, granted the protection order in Magirate’s favour.
