He said to his advantage was the fact that he was enjoying support from the Zvishavane community and his employers.
The fans reacted angrily last week when goalkeeper Roy Mazingi let in a cross from Oscar Chove that he directed into his own nets during a friendly match against Tripple B.
“I am happy with the way fans reacted when my goalkeeper let in the goal. It is very good for them to push the players because Shabanie Mine fans want positive results. They are a very good lot and I am going to be with them for sometime,” said the former Dynamos, Caps United and Masvingo gaffer.

The problem with their defence however is failing to deal with the ball if they start play from the wingbacks as they are technically not good and many times the defence has been robbed of the ball resulting in goals.
On Sunday the defence comes under scrutiny when they meet a side that boasts of Evans Gwekwerere, Rahman Kutsanzira, Darryl Nyandoro, Chris Samakweri,
Edmore Chafungamoyo and the roving defender Tapiwa Kumbuyani who is very dangerous with his crosses.
Meanwhile, Shabanie Mine are set to receive yet another kit this afternoon.
“We have received yet another kit donation which is going to be presented tomorrow afternoon. The kit includes tracksuits, tackies, football boots and our maroon and gold home kit,” said Webster Chitono, the club chairman.
“Just come tomorrow and you will see for yourself. We are also going to officially announce the new executive for the football team and also the supporters’ executive at the function,” he added.
Shabanie last season struggled to get sponsorship and had to rely on a few members of the community who donated camping food among other things. They even struggled with getting a football kit but managed to pull through when the window opened when a businessman from outside the mining town donated a kit.
On Tuesday Shabanie took delivery of another set of uniforms.
