Sharpe, West Property bag top awards

West Property and its chief executive Mr Ken Sharpe received seals of excellence last Friday, after dominating the Zimbabwe Business Awards ceremony.

Chief operating officer Mrs Tatiana Ellis also received the national award of top businesswoman of the year.

Mr Sharpe walked away with the chief executive officer of the year award.

He heads arguably the biggest real estate entity in the country that has promised to bring Dubai-style infrastructure to Zimbabwe.

Mr Sharpe is one of the pioneers of smart city developments in Zimbabwe.

At the moment, West Property is developing Pomona City, dubbed a city within a city, Millennium Park that encompasses Pokugara Residential Estate and the Millennium Heights apartments and the soon-to-be unveiled US$100 million Mall of Zimbabwe.

Apart from the CEO award, Mr Sharpe received two more awards on behalf of his company after it was rated the best property and land developer of the year.

In the other award, West Property received the company of the year award in the construction services industry.
