A Harare man has won a case against his ex-wife who had accused him of insulting and stalking her as well as damaging her property.
Rwatirara out of court a happy man after magistrate Tamara Chibindi dismissed Febbie Gweverere’s case due to lack of merit.
Febbie had told the court Rwatirara was a violent man, who is violent and he insults her whenever he visits her place.
“We divorced three years ago, but he comes where I stay in a violent manner and damages windows and property.
“Every time he comes across me with my new husband, he insults us, threatens him,” she said.
Rwatirara admitted to the accusations.
“I admit what she is saying. I was married to this woman for about seven years, and I caught her cheating.
“She had different boyfriends when she was married to me, that is why I divorced her and she went away with everything.
“Her husband does not want to see me because we work in the same market place,” he said.
Magistrate Chibindi dismissed the case saying that the woman’s submissions had failed to convince the court.
