A 37-YEAR-OLD Sanyati woman, who survived a crocodile attack together with her son in November last year, now desperately wants some help.

Lainah Mazhambe was attacked by the crocodile while trying to rescue her 13-year-old son, Tatenda Dube, in the Sanyati River on November 12 last year.

They are both still admitted to Gweru Provincial Hospital where they are receiving treatment.

The family is appealing for help from well-wishers to raise US$1 400 needed to cover their medical bills.

“We can’t afford to raise enough money for our treatment,” said Lainah.
