A CITY woman is at odds with her husband and stepson, who constantly threaten her with eviction.
Benadette Mutandi was granted a protection order against her husband, Nicolas Tamirepi, and stepson, by magistrate Rutendo Machingura.
Benadette said she got married to Nicolas in 2017 and the couple agreed not to have children since they are advanced in age.
“Our problem started from nowhere when Nicolas said he no longer loves me.
“He wants to evict me from our matrimonial home that we built together.
“He called his son to help him evict me.
“He also abuses me physically.”
In his defence, Nicolas said his wife was the one who actually told him she was leaving.
“I called my son to stay with me since I am not always around.
“She is lying that we built the house together.
“The house was built by my son in 2014 before I even got to know her.
“We never got married but we were cohabiting as girlfriend and boyfriend, and now I no longer love her.”
Her stepson David also denied ever threatening her.
