Sheasham go into break on top

SHEASHAM will go into the Zifa Central Region Soccer League (CSRL) mid-season break five points ahead of second-placed TelOne in what promises to be an exciting race for promotion. The league is set for a lengthy two-month break starting this weekend, with action set to resume in May.

“The first half of the 2021-22 football season will end on March 20. Please be advised that all league games are resuming on May 7,” CRSL said.

Sheasham have amassed 31 points from 13 games and are unbeaten in the league with nine wins and four draws.

TelOne are five points behind with seven wins, five stalemates and one loss. They have the same number of points as Vumbachikwe in third place.
