ZIM dancehall artist, Shinsoman, says he is excited to be performing in Kariba after an absence of several years.
Better known as “Dancehall Father”, the chanter revealed he last performed in the resort town before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Mawaya Waya hit-maker returns to the resort town on August 7, for a one-off performance at Lake Harvest Sports Club, thanks to Tamba Events.
Speaking to H-Metro, Shinsoman said: “I don’t really remember the last time I performed in Kariba, it was before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I am very excited about the show and I look forward to meeting my fans and giving them a great performance.
“I also extend my gratitude to the organisers of the event, it really means a lot to be part of the event.”
Shinsoman, who is expected to share the stage with Jah Prayzah and Van Choga, assured fans of a memorable show.
“They should expect fireworks, new songs and, of course, more energy on stage,” he added.
Tamba Events and Braai Out boss, Nigel Chinovhiringa, said they were looking forward to staging a great show.
“A couple of years back, we wanted to stage a show in Kariba but unfortunately we couldn’t.
“It has come around this time and we are ready to stage an amazing event.
“Hopefully, we are going to have it annually,” he said.
