CHAMPIONSHIP favourites Archers are on the roll in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League as they thrashed struggling PPC Wolves 26-15 on Wednesday night.Archers are still unbeaten so far after 29 games with 29 points, Railstars are second with 27 points from the same number of games.
Former Highlanders chairman and Archers captain Ernest Maphepha Sibanda said they want to win all their remaining five games.

“I have won championships in soccer with Highlanders, now I’m targeting my first championship in darts with Archers,” said Sibanda.
He praised Tawanda Albert for his splendid performance after he won all his five matches.

“The team did well, as we had given other guys a chance, but Albert was outstanding as he won all five games,” he said.
Sibanda said the title race is still open with a two points gap between them and Railstars.

“We are still unbeaten, but the title is still wide open so we can’t afford any slip ups until the end of the season,” he said.
PPC Wolves captain Godfrey Mhlanga said they just played to fulfil the fixture.

“We lost to a better team, but we struggled to raise a team because most of our players have relocated to elsewhere,” said Mhlanga.
