Sibanda to lead Zim A in Bangladesh

cricketA 20-man Zimbabwe A side will tour Bangladesh for two unofficial Tests and three unofficial ODIs in September, a month ahead of the senior squad’s arrival. Vusi Sibanda, who played in the tri-series with Australia and South Africa, will lead the side.
There had been plans for Zimbabwe A to visit Bangladesh in June, but the monsoon had forced a postponement. The BCB had suggested a July-August window but Zimbabwe had refused because they had to host the tri-series.

Mark Vermeulen, who had resumed Test duties after a decade away from the format, finds a place. Richmond Mutumbami, who had been forced out of the tri-series with a fractured right forearm, has recovered to make the squad.

Zimbabwe A squad: Vusimuzi Sibanda (capt), Regis Chakabva, Brian Chari, Michael Chinouya, Joylord Gumbie, Luke Jongwe, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Neville Madziva, Tatenda Manatsa, Timycen Maruma, Shingi Masakadza, Tino Mawoyo, Kudakwashe Munyede, Tawanda Mupariwa, Forster Mutizwa, Tinotenda Mutombodzi, Richmond Mutumbami, Taurai Muzarabani, Mark Vermeulen, Malcolm Waller — Cric Info
