NDOLWANE Super Sounds frontman Martin Sibanda is eager to engage his former band mate Charles Ndebele, perhaps to make amends and get public on issues relating to their split.
The duo split in 2011 under unclear circumstances.
They both formed different bands and have never been open neither to each other nor the public about the split.
Martin went on to form his own band Martin and Ndolwane Super Sounds, which has garnered a large following despite the split while Charles formed Amangwe Part 1.
Martin said he needed to be under the same roof with Ndebele to truthfully get over the issue which had also affected him a lot.
“Basically we have to get together with Ndebele so that we can both share our story, that way the truth is bound to come out.
As it is I can only tell you my side of the story which can be biased, together we can address this issue once and for all,” said Sibanda.
Sibanda said unlike his former band member, he had no qualms in meeting him.
“I don’t have any problem being under the same roof with Ndebele, he is the one who is avoiding me. You can even arrange a secret meeting where I can show up without him knowing so that we discuss this issue because it has also greatly affected me,” he said.
Since the release of his solo project — Bakhuzeni, Martin said he would soon be launching a six-track album titled Konke Sizokulungisa in March this year.
“I am going to launch my album, after a long time. When I was in South Africa we released a lot of tracks. This time I am launching an album which we are going to take to the people, it’s going to be affordable and readily available in different outlets that are yet to be named,” he said.
