THE Sigola family has hailed President Mnangagwa for facilitating the installation of Chief Nomalanga Sigola, three years after the death of her father, the late Chief Zephania Sigola.

Speaking on behalf of the family at Sigola Primary School ahead of the installation ceremony, Bongani Sigola, brother of the 47-year-old traditional leader, said the family was humbled that the long-awaited ceremony was finally taking place.

“We would like to thank President Mnangagwa for making this day possible and for allowing us to install my sister, Nomalanga, as the substantive Chief Sigola. We feel honoured,” said Mr Sigola.

Director of Coordination in the Office of the Matabeleland South Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Ms Sikhangele Ndlovu, is presiding over the ceremony.
