THE teenager, who was allegedly raped by social media personality Silage Kasimu, came to his flat to charge her phone and laptop.
The two stay in the same neighbourhood.
The State claims Kasimu had been trying to win her heart since last year.
Kasimu appeared in court yesterday facing rape charges. The woman is 19.
Kasimu, 28, appeared before Harare regional magistrate, Ignatio Mhene.
He is being accused of raping the woman on Monday after she visited his flat with the intention of charging her laptop and cellphone.
The State alleges that Kasimu had been proposing love to her since last year.
It is alleged that when she arrived at his flat, she found him in the company of two male friends, who later left.
According to the State, Kasimu allegedly approached the woman while she was seated on the floor, charging her laptop, and made sexual advances towards her.
The woman allegedly resisted and told him to stop but Kasimu is accused of having persisting with the advances.
The State alleges that the woman attempted to collect her belongings and leave the flat but Kasimu allegedly pushed her to the ground and raped her once.
After the incident, the woman contacted a friend before leaving Kasimu’s flat and returning home.
She later informed another friend, who accompanied her back to Kasimu’s flat before they took him to the police, where a report was made.
The woman was subsequently medically examined.
