IT never rains but pours incessantly for axed women football boss Samukeliso Silengane.
Barely a fortnight after being indefinitely suspended by Zifa for insubordination and misrepresentation, the Zimbabwe Women Soccer League (ZWSL) vice-chairperson is in hot soup, again.
A Francistown hotel a�� Wingate a�� has approached Zifa for assistance to recover hotel bills incurred by Silengane and two ZWSL executive members during a stay in Botswana.
a�?We received a receipt from Wingate Hotel with a breakdown of a hotel bill that Silengane is said to have incurred supposedly on women football business. We will look into the matter and issue out a statement when investigations are concluded,a�? said Zifa vice-president Omega Sibanda.
Sibanda oversees womena��s football and was instrumental in setting up a Premier Soccer League where top clubs around the country compete in.
The bill was allegedly incurred by Silengane and her colleagues while working on a deal that would benefit ZWSL during the ill fated Joy Foundation Cup that was supposed to be played by Highlanders, Dynamos and Botswanaa��s Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Tafic Sporting Club.
The three ladies were each booked in a room with a double bed and air conditioning.
The trio checked into Wingate Hotel on 10 July, had dinner the same night and breakfast the following morning before checking out.

The Joy Foundation Cup was aborted at the eleventh hour after the organisers failed to deposit Bosso and DeMbare playersa�� appearance fees as per agreement.
The two Zimbabwean football giants subsequently pulled out.
Silengane is currently barred from participating in football in any role, pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing to be instituted at a later date.
