‘Silent Assassin Senko’ releases debut album

BULAWAYO-based rising dancehall artiste Nkosana “Silent Assassin Senko” Nyati has released his debut album, titled Kukura Kwangu.
The 10-track album has Shona, English and IsiNdebele songs. Senko (21) is a product of local based talent search programme, Dreams to Fame.He has been involved in a number of collaborations with renowned dancehall artistes such as General Python.

Kukura Kwangu has reggae and dancehall songs such as Girl Next Door, Beautiful Girl, Godo, Sandla Sami and Soldier in the Army.
Senko said he used to sing at church before venturing into reggae music.

“I am a proud Rastafarian and to me being a Rasta is a calling.
“There is no difference between Christianity and Rastafarian because we all speak the gospel of love, forgiveness and tolerance,’ he said.

Senko has curtain raised for a number of dancehall artistes including the Ninja President Winky D last year and also performed at President Mugabe’s Inauguration gig on 22 August.

Senko said he is no longer with UpperKlass recording studio.
